RAYMOND STEVENSON June 11, 1936 - March 9, 2007 Raymond Stevenson, after a short courageous battle with cancer, passed away peacefully in his residence in Peguis, Manitoba. Raymond is survived by his children, Jennifer Nana Stevenson (Elton) and Raymond Co-co Stevenson (Rhonda); stepsons, Keith Wood (Cecilia), Tim Wood (Tammy) and Kenny Little; grandchildren, Brittany, Brandy, Arica, Clint, Chad, Marty, Donald, Tanay and Talia; great-grandchildren, Dreyden, Blaze, Alyx and Ethan. He is also survived by his sisters, Olive Thomas and Margaret Stranger; brother Donnie Stevenson (Rita); sisters-in-law, Judy and Joyce Stevenson. Raymond was predeceased by his wife, Minnie; parents, Ethel and George Stevenson; sister Millie Grantham, brothers, Harvey Stevenson, Larry Stevenson, Arnold Stevenson, Harold Stevenson and Vernon Stevenson. Special thank you to Betty McCorrister and her family for looking after, supporting and spending time with Raymond during the time of his sickness and Laurie and Jeannette Asham and family for being part of our family for many years. Prayers and Viewing to take place on Thursday, March 15, 2007, from 7:30 to 11:00 p.m. at St. Matthew's Anglican Church, Peguis, MB. Prayers and Viewing to take place on Friday, March 16, 2007, from 7:30 to 11:00 p.m. at the Thunderbird House, 715 Main St., Winnipeg, MB. Service to Celebrate his Life will take place on Saturday, March 17, 2007, at 1:30 p.m. at the Thunderbird House, 715 Main St., Winnipeg, MB. Cremation will follow.
