Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryERIC G. LAYACAN Suddenly on Sunday, March 11, 2007, Eric passed away with his family by his side. He leaves to cherish his memory his loving wife of 23 years Shirley and his precious son Andy. He also leaves behind and will be lovingly remembered by his mother, Maria Azuncion; siblings, Linda, Lucy, Rorie, Sitang, Ver, Reny and Ador; brother-in-law Ed and numerous nieces and nephews in Canada and the Philippines. Eric was predeceased by his father Nicanor. Eric was born in the Philippines on January 18, 1957. He moved to Winnipeg in 1978 with his mother. He worked at Westeel for 28 years. Eric enjoyed spending time with his family and friends. His favourite past times included fishing and cheering Andy at his football games. Thank you to the staff at Seven Oaks Hospital, our family and friends who were there for us during this difficult time. Lamay (Viewing) will be held on Thursday, March 15, from 6:00 p.m. to 12:00 a.m. at Cropo Funeral Chapel, 1442 Main Street with Prayers at 8:00 p.m. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Friday, March 16, at 11:00 a.m. at St. Anthony of Padua Roman Catholic Church, 250 Burrin Avenue with Fr. Henryk Laciak officiating. Interment will follow in Glen Eden Memorial Gardens. Pallbearers are Mark Sumka, Mark Fontaine, Ruben De Castro, Jerry Abrenica, Joel Almazan, Frank Pamintuan, Del Gonzales and Juanito Narciso. Cropo Funeral Chapel 586-8044
