PATRICIA (PAT) V. BARLOW (nee SPEED) Suddenly but peacefully, on Thursday, March 15, 2007 at the St. Boniface Hospital, after a lengthy and courageous battle with cancer, Patricia Barlow passed away at the age of 66 years. Pat will be lovingly remembered by daughter Shannon (Bobby) Weir; son Scott Barlow, grandson Jordan Barlow; and her furry grand-daughters , Widgett, Chicklett and Smidgen, and her beloved cats, as well as her sister Lynda Neely and aunt Becky Worboys, and many lifelong friends. She was predeceased by her husband Warren Barlow in 2000. Pat most enjoyed being with her family, as they were the most important part of her life. Every moment spent with them was precious and we will treasure every memory that was made. She will be sadly and deeply missed by all who loved and knew her. The family would like to thank the nurses and staff on the 3rd floor of St. Boniface Hospital for their help during this difficult time. Cremation has taken place. A private family service will be held. Because of Pat's great love for animals, we ask that in lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Winnipeg Humane Society or the World Wildlife Fund. Mom. Not a day passes that I dont think of you. Words cannot describe how much you are missed. The stories you'd tell my son about my sports escapades were priceless. The care packages you'd send me in cowtown. I'd give anything to get one more package. Although alot has changed since you passed. Those Christmases spent here were so enjoyable. We will discuss in detail when I see you in heaven. Thanks for choosing me as your son. I couldn't have chosen a better mom if I tried. Mom, you are so truly missed, more and more everyday!! I don't understand why someone as gracious and kind as you was taken away from me..I hope to join you soon, as I cannot live without you anymore. My life has crumbled around me since your passing, and the only way I see out is with your support, so I will be wishing you are there in "heaven" waiting for me...I LOVE YOU MOM & MISS YOU SO MUCH!!
