JARVIS GORMAN It is with deep sadness the family announces the sudden passing of Jarvis on Monday, March 12, 2007 at the Health Sciences Centre at the age of 72 years. Remaining to forever cherish Jarvis' memory are his loving wife of 45 years, Sandra; two sons, Darryl (Lisa), Roddy (Dawn); daughter Kelly; also four very special grandsons, James, Bruce, Brady and Stephane; sister Lil (Willie); as well many nieces and nephews, many good friends and neighbors. Jarvis was predeceased by his parents; three brothers, Bill, Henry and John; and two sisters, Mary and Olga. Born and raised in Arbakka, MB, Jarvis farmed with his parents. In his twenties, he moved to Winnipeg and got a job at Bonar Bemis. This is where he met Sandra. They were married in 1961 and worked together until Bonar Bemis ceased their operation in Winnipeg. In 1975 Jarvis started working as a custodian with the Winnipeg School Division No. 1, retiring 24 years later in 1999. In his spare time, Jarvis enjoyed curling, bowling and most of all hunting and fishing at his favourite spot Sand River . He was also a family man especially when it came to his grandsons. Jarvis was always willing to lend a helping hand to family, friends and neighbours. In compliance with Jarvis' wishes, no formal funeral service will be held. We leave you with all our hearts and will miss you forever and ever.
