ROBINA (RUBY) MAIRE (nee MATTHEWMAN) July 26, 1919 March 13, 2007 Ruby passed away peacefully on March 13, 2007, at the St. Joseph's Residence Inc. Ruby was predeceased by her husband Francois (Frank) Maire; her mother and father, Janet and Arthur Matthewman; her sister Janet and her brother Arthur. She will be sadly missed by her brother Robert (Marion) Matthewman of Duncan, BC; brother James (Faye) Matthewman of Gimli, MB; chosen son, Karl Maire (Beta) and grandson, Joshua; as well as numerous nieces, nephews and very close friends. Ruby was a longtime member of the Broadway First Baptist Church. She was also a life member of P.E.O. and greatly enjoyed her year working with them helping others. Many thanks to the nurses and staff at St. Joseph's for their devoted care and service. Funeral service will be held 2:00 p.m. Wednesday, March 21, 2007, at Broadway First Baptist Church, 790 Honeyman Ave., the Rev. Frank Rupert officiating.
