Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryRAYMOND JOSEPH LOUIS RICHARD It is with great sorrow that we announce the passing of our loving husband, father and grandfather on March 16, 2007 at the age of 73. He will be sadly missed by wife Joyce, of 54 years, daughters: Catherine (Robert, Ashton and Natasha, Kirsten), Lorna (Paul, Fawn and Mark, Tessa and Shane, Cheri and Ryan), May (Melanie and Jason, great-grandaughter Reese, April and Philippe, Myles) sons: Paul (Bernadette, Christina and Julia) and Gerry. Life long friends, Max and Eileen McCartney, numerous friends, sisters, brother and stepmother. He was predeceased by his daughter Annette in 1968, granddaughter Roxanne in 1979, his parents, Frank and Violet, brother Arthur and his special companion, Dominic. At the early age of 15, he started his career in the printing industry, working at Systems Equipment Ltd., then T. Eaton Co. and finally at his own business, Banner Printing Ltd. until his retirement in 1998. He was a kind and generous man, willing to help anyone at anytime. He had a great passion for music of all kinds, travelling, gardening, cooking, fishing and camping. He was very proud of his children and their accomplishments in their lives. The family would like to extend their deepest appreciation to the compassionate staff at Seven Oaks Hospital, 5th floor Unit 1 and special thanks to Dr. Patel, Nurses Darren, Val, Conchita, Ellen, spiritual care giver Erica Block and Palliative Care nurses, Darlene and Lisa. At his request, cremation has taken place and there will be no service. A celebration of his life will be held at the family home on March 24, 2007 at 2:00 p.m. for family and friends.
