GWEN CAROLYNN GOODMAN (NELSON) (nee SIDDON) Grannies Are Just Antique Little Girls Passed away suddenly February 21, 2007, in Lake Cowichan, BC, at the age of 73. She is survived by her son Murray (Jacquie); grandsons Bradley (Melanie) and Ryan (Sara); great-granddaughter Lauren Nelson; daughter Carol (Rob) Bloomfield; granddaughter Blaine (Shane) Linde; grandson Tyler (Kim) Caldwell; great-granddaughter Natalie Linde; stepson Roger (Betty-Ann); grandchildren Michelle (Greg) Friesen; with three great-grandchildren; grandson Beau (Heather) Provencal; stepson Claude (Carla); grandson Shane Provencal; stepdaughter Gisele (Randy) Strychar; granddaughter Lisa (Chris) Frazzel. Also by sisters Marguerite (Will) Auld; Shirley (Bud) Wells; brother Lorne (Mona) Siddon; sister-in-law Doris Siddon; as well as numerous nieces and nephews. Gwen was predeceased by her son Donald George Nelson; husbands John Goodman, Gordie Summerville and James Nelson; parents Henry and Ferne Siddon; brother Roy Siddon; and brother-in-law George Auld. Gwen was born in Swan River, MB, on April 22, 1933, along with identical twin sister Shirley. After 73 years in Manitoba, Gwen spent the last six months of her life in Lake Cowichan, BC. With Gwen's outgoing and friendly personality, she was blessed with many dear friends in Winnipeg, Lac Du Bonnet and her new home in Lake Cowichan. Gwen loved her family. This was evident at the many family reunions we all enjoyed together over the years. We'll all miss her boisterous spirit and infectious laugh. Mother, sister, grandmother and friend will be flown home to Winnipeg to rest with her mother Ferne, as she requested, the last week of August, 2007. Sleep well our little smurfette. Love you always.
