PETER DROSDOSKI 1918 - 2007 Dad passed away unexpectedly at Concordia Hospital on March 14, 2007, with his loving wife and daughter by his side. He is survived by his wife of 67 years, Irene; and daughter Vivian (Gerry); 12 grandchildren, five great-grandchildren and three sisters. He was predeceased by his parents Anna and Joseph, daughter Shirley and brother Harry. Mom and Dad started their lives together farming in Angusville. A few years later they partnered in the Rossburn Hotel and Bus Depot. Dad's next venture was moving the family to Shoal Lake to own Cockshutt Farm Equipment and BA Gas Station. There he enjoyed curling, dancing, traveling, hunting and fishing. As a member of St. Josephat's Church he served on the committee, became a member of the Knights of Columbus where he volunteered many hours at bingo and selling tickets, and finally became a member of Holy Eucharist Church. Dad was our gentle giant who supported his growing family with patience and love. An avid hunter and fisherman who enjoyed listening to Ukrainian music, playing cards at Columbus House and his trips to the casino. Popper, Pops, Grandpa, Gigi, Dido, you will always be missed but forever in our hearts. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation. Service to be held at Holy Eucharist Church (corner of Watt and Monroe) on Monday, March 19, 2007, at 10:00 a.m. Arrangements entrusted to: Glen Eden Funeral Home 4477 Main Street 338-7111
