Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryEMMA MARIE AGNES HARBORNE (FREEMAN) 1910 2007 Peacefully, on Friday, March 16, 2007, Em passed at the Golden West Centennial Lodge, just two months short of her 97th year. Remaining to forever cherish Em's memory are her sons, Bud (Doris), Bob (Gloria); daughter, Marge (Jack) Mawhinney; 12 grandchildren; and 20 great-grandchildren; extended family Joyce and Chic Seabrook. She was predeceased by her husband Bill in 1964; her parents, Joseph and Suzane Freeman; 7 brothers, Peter, Aimie, Bill, Ed, Dave, George and Andrew; and one sister, May. Attending school in St. Boniface/Norwood, Mom worked at Paulin Chambers, Weston Bakery, and Moore (North America) Business Forms in Vancouver, where she had resided for 36 years. In 1975 she retired from Moore. Mom enjoyed traveling, music, painting and visiting her family on holidays in Winnipeg. Mom returned to Winnipeg in 2002 where she resided at Golden West Centennial Lodge. Mom was always there for her family whether it was advice needed or a shoulder to lean on, we knew she was there for us. We will miss her and her great sense of humor. Em's funeral service will be held on Wednesday, March 21 at 1:30 p.m. in the Golden West Centennial Lodge. The family would like to extend a special thank you to all 2nd floor staff for their excellent care and compassion for Mom and her family. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Em's memory to the Golden West Centennial Lodge, 811 School Road, Winnipeg, Manitoba R2Y 0S8.
