JOHN ANDREW LANE Tragically, it is with great sorrow that on Saturday, March 17, 2007, John Andrew Lane was taken from us. John was predeceased by his Gramma Baker, Great-Gramma Colter. He is survived by his mom Pam, dad Gerald, brother Gerry, sister Rachel, his three year old son Jordan, as well as numerous relatives from great-grandparents to cousins. John was born February 11, 1982, and from day one, he was the most sensitive, caring, funny and loving person you could have in your life. John went to Sturgeon Creek Collegiate where he had many friends. If you met John, you had to like him. John became a very proud parent at an early age, but instead of becoming a deterrence, it only made John work harder to be a wonderful, loving, dedicated father. Being a single father was the thing John took most pride in. He not only became a father, but a daddy or dida as his son calls him. John poured his life into building a stable loving home for Jordan, and did a wonderful job. A special thanks to John's friends Darcy and Cody who were with John in his final moments holding him while praying. The family has asked in lieu of flowers, a trust fund has been set up for Jordan, so he can have the future his dida definitely would have ensured. A funeral service will be held on Saturday, March 24, 2007, at 3:00 p.m. at Chapel Lawn Funeral Home, with an interment to follow. Arrangements entrusted to: Chapel Lawn Funeral Home 885-9715
