ROSIE RUBILETZ (nee WOWCHUK) 1925 - 2007 It is with heavy hearts we say Good-Bye to our loving Mother, Baba and Friend, Rosie Rubiletz, born January 10, 1925, in Shell Valley, Manitoba. On March 20, 2007, with all her children, many grandchildren and great-grandchildren and at her side, Rosie peacefully passed away at the Seven Oaks Hospital in Winnipeg. Rosie had a full life with 50 years of marriage to her husband Alex. Together they raised eight children, Henry (Judy), Mary (Dell), Victor (Ann), Sandy, Edward (Kathy), Julia (John), Christine (Andy) and Shirly (Neil). They also shared 19 grandchildren and 20 great-grandchildren! Rosie was predeceased by her husband Alex on June 3, 1993; two children, Sandy and Henry; and two grandchildren, Michael and Gary. Rosie was a proud member of the General Sir Sam Steele Legion No. 117 and a member of their Ladies Auxiliary. The family wants to especially thank Dr. Finlayison and his team of nurses for the care and comfort they provided to our mother. Cremation has taken place.
