MARIE DANIEL Longtime resident of Winnipeg, Marie Magdeline, aged 73, passed away peacefully on Saturday, March 10, 2007. Marie was born April 4, 1933, in Odessa, SK, to Edward (predeceased) and Ida Tosczak (predeceased) and sister Florence. After graduation from high school, Marie met and married Marvin G. Daniel and together raised six children. Marie obtained her teachers certificate in 1953, dedicating her life to teaching children as well as expanding her own knowledge. She helped to shape the hearts and minds of hundreds of young students over her 47 years of teaching. In order to provide the best of education to her students she obtained her Masters degree of Education from the University of Winnipeg. Marie loved life and will best be remembered for her grace, beauty and for being warmhearted. She will be dearly missed by all who knew her. Marie is survived by her sister, Florence Fink - Regina; children: Marvin Edward Daniel (predeceased); Neil Daniel - Brandon; Cindy (Myron) Puffer - Innisfail; Lynn Kostiuk - Moose Jaw; Wayne (Lynn) Daniel - Victoria; Dan (Lana) Daniel - Red Deer; grandchildren: Alicia, Brandy, Carolynn, Corrine, Karen, Richard, Veronica and Wayne; great-grandchildren: Brian, Destiny-Lynn, Draven and Brayden; nieces and nephews: Kim, Keith, Michael and Leanne. Funeral services will be held at Glen Eden Funeral Home, 4477 Main Street in Winnipeg, Tuesday, March 27, 2007, at 2:00 p.m. Interment will follow at Glen Eden Memorial Gardens.
