VIOLET MAE LAVERY (nee FERGUSON) The Light of my Life has gone out. Peacefully on March 19, 2007, at the Victoria Hospital, Violet Mae Lavery, the much loved wife of N. Harvey Lavery and our children and grandchildren, returned home. She was born in Winnipeg on February 8, 1933, but spent most of her early years on the family farm at Anola, MB, and was married to a very lucky man on August 7, 1955. She is survived by her husband, daughter Wendy, son Kelly, daughter Laurie, wife of Craig Green and their children Melissa and Emerson, and grandson Michael, son of Wayne, who predeceased her on March 11, 2003. Words cannot describe the emptiness we all feel or the reasons for this emptiness. She will be sadly missed but we will console ourselves knowing she is in a much better place and we will be together again.
