Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemorySHIRLEY GRANGER Peacefully, on Saturday, March 17, 2007, Shirley Granger, the beloved wife of George Robert Granger (Bob), passed away at the Riverview Health Centre at the age of 71. She was greatly loved and will be dearly missed by Bob, her husband of 48 years; her sons, Robert Granger (Cassandra) and Kenneth Granger (Marianne); her daughter Elisa Ritchot (Sandy); her grandchildren, Brian (Denay), Kevin, Shirley-Ann Codie, Katie, Jesse, Kristen and her great-grandson Bryden. She was very close to her family and was especially fond of the many summers she spent at Clear Lake with her grandchildren. Her family will cherish the memories they have of her including camping trips, ice fishing, bonfires and holidays together on the farm. Shirley touched the hearts of everyone who knew her. She was blessed with many good friends in Dauphin and more recently in Winnipeg. Her immediate family would like to acknowledge our relatives in Alberta and Ontario and all her friends during this difficult time. We know how much you meant to her. Shirley was a very compassionate and giving person. For 45 years, she worked as a Registered Psychiatric Nurse in numerous hospitals and personal care homes throughout Manitoba. During her career she was dedicated to caring for others in need. With high regard, she often spoke of the people she worked with, many of whom became more than just co-workers. According to her wishes, cremation has taken place and a private family service was held at the Bardal Funeral Home. Interment will be in Brookside Cemetery. The family would like to thank the doctors, nurses and staff at Riverview, CancerCare Manitoba and at the HSC for their devoted care and kindness. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Riverview Health Centre. Bardal Funeral Home 843 Sherbrook Street, 774-7474 Condolences: www.bardal.ca
