ARTHUR (ART) DALMAN Mr. Art Dalman of Medicine Hat, AB, passed away on Tuesday, March 20, 2007, at the age of 81 years. Art leaves to cherish his memory five nephews, Ken (Maria) Dalman, Bruce (Bonnie) Dalman, Ron (Mary) Dalman, Norman Dalman, and Steven (Tambi) Dalman; two nieces, Ida Storozuk and Gladys (John) Eddy; and two brothers, Richard (Alma) Dalman and Herbert Dalman. Art was predeceased by his parents, Norman and Gladys Dalman; and his twin brother, Harold. Art was born on June 16, 1925, at Selkirk, MB, and was raised and educated in the Selkirk District. He worked in many different areas of Manitoba including Churchill and Petersfield. In late 1950, Art moved to Winnipeg and then Ottawa working with the Department of National Defense from 1960 until his retirement in 1997. He spent many holidays in Calgary and Medicine Hat before making Medicine Hat his home in 1998. Art was an avid bowler playing in several leagues and coaching the Youth Bowling Club in Ottawa. In October 2000, Art moved into Riverview Care Centre where he continued to reside until the time of his passing. A graveside service will be held in Selkirk, MB, in June 2007.
