Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryMARION (CATHERINE) BALDNER May 27, 1918 ~ March 23, 2007 Peacefully, surrounded by her family on March 23, 2007 Catherine went to be with The Lord at the Grace Hospital at the age of 88. Catherine was predeceased by her husband Harold of over 60 years. Catherine will be remembered by her daughter Carolyn (Bob) Keith; sons, Les (Eve), David (Darlene); grandchildren, Debbie (Don), Michael (Darlene), Kelly, Gordon (Jacquie), Jim (Judy), Sandra, Lesley (John), Natalie (Wayne), Sheri (Rob). Catherine will also be missed by her many great-grandchildren as well as Barb, Heather; her dear nieces, nephew, extended family and friends. Catherine was born and raised in the Winnipeg area. She met her husband Harold, who lived across the street, and together they attended Kelvin High School. Catherine loved sports. In 1961 her team won the Manitoba Lady Eaton Curling Championship. Catherine's faith in Jesus defined who she was, and much of her life centered around serving her Lord. Her greatest pleasure in life was her husband and family. She was a wonderful inspiration for her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren. The family would like to thank the staff at the Westhaven. She loved living there. A memorial service will be held on Tuesday March 27, at 11:30 a.m. at Westwood Presbyterian Church, 197 Browning Blvd, with a reception to follow.
