Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryROBERT (BOB) JOHN SPENCER April 18, 1948 March 23, 2007 Peacefully, surrounded by the love of his family, Bob passed away at the Riverview Health Centre in Winnipeg on Friday, March 23, 2007. Bob will be greatly missed by his wife Freda, as well as by his daughters, Karen (Larry) Thorkelson and Tricia (Shea) Sanche; grand-children, Amy, Evan, Adam, Jordyn and Jesse; parents, Art and Tena Spencer; brother David Spencer and sister Carol (George) Wagner; and many nieces, nephews and friends. Bob was raised in Lundar, MB. He and Freda moved to Lynn Lake, MB in 1970, where he was employed by Sherritt Gordon Mines. He continued to work in the mining industry until the mine closed in 1989, he then worked at the West Lynn Heights School. Bob especially enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren. He always looked forward to annual vacations with his wife and friends, seasonal hunting trips with his buddies and spending time at his two cabins in the north. Bob could always be counted on to help out with any project, big or small, and was very much admired for his building abilities. Bob has created a lifetime of memories for his family and friends. He will be most remembered for his sense of humour, love for the outdoors, and devotion to his family. So many times we will miss you. So many times we will cry. If our love could have saved you You never would have died A memorial service will be held on Wednesday, March 28 at 2:00 p.m. in Thomson In the Park Funeral Home, 1291 McGillivray Blvd. Special thanks to the staff at Riverview Health Centre 3East for their care and compassion.
