Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryREGINALD (REG) ARTHUR WARNER It is with deep sadness the family announces the passing of Reg on Friday, March 23, 2007, at Victoria General Hospital. Reg was born in Winnipeg on January 11, 1926, to William and Annie Warner. He is survived by his wife Barbara, daughter Pat (Terry), son Grant (Colleen) and grandchildren, Andie and Max, sister Ruby, brother Al (Kay), brother-in-law Don (Pat) and many nieces and nephews. Reg was predeceased by his parents, brothers, Wilf, Fred, Dave, Ron and sister Irene. For many years, Reg was employed in the grain industry followed by a lengthy career at Air Canada, retiring in 1988. Working at Air Canada provided the opportunity for extensive travel and the chance to photograph many interesting people and places. Reg loved his immaculate garden and was especially proud of his wide variety of roses. He enjoyed reading, carpentry and was a member of the Assiniboine Golf Club for many years. Family gatherings were special to Reg and provided the occasion to go snap happy. The family would like to extend their appreciation to the staff at Victoria General Hospital for their compassion and support over the past several weeks. Special thanks to Connie, Faye, Lilly, Eva, Jackie, Elvira and Bonnie and the rest of staff on Unit 4 South. A celebration of Reg's life will be held Thursday, March 29 at 10:00 a.m. at Chapel Lawn Funeral Home, 4000 Portage Ave., with reception to follow. In lieu of flowers, donations in Reg's memory may be made to the ALS Society of Manitoba, Brummitt-Feasby ALS House or a charity of your choice.
