Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryRUBY KEYS (LANTHIER) Peacefully, after a brief illness, Ruby Keys (Lanthier) passed away Saturday, March 24, 2007, at the age of almost 94 years. Ruby was predeceased by her first husband Rudy Lanthier, her parents, Carrie and Jim Begley, her sisters, Mrytle and Margaret. She is survived by three sons and one daughter, Larry (Edna), Don (Myrna), Mel (Karen) and June (Ray Vanlancker) from her first marriage and a loving husband John Keys, two sons and one daughter Ross (Teresa), Bob (June) and Kathryn (Bart) from her second marriage. She also leaves to mourn 14 grandchildren, Jamie (Heather), Jason (Caycee), Jordan, Tanya, Tracy, Lisa, Kyle (Heather), Lyren, Carrie (Troy), Chris, Todd, Devon, Christine and Michael. She will also be missed by four great- grandchildren, Kaleigh, Tanner, Kayla and Saige. She will also be lovingly remembered by her sister-in-law Julie Pocaillo (Phil) and brother-in-law Roland (Mona). She will also be missed by numerous nieces, nephews and cousins. She was born on July 1, 1913, and was raised in Rosewood, Manitoba. She had a wonderful sense of humour, loved poetry and her summers at the lake; Ruby's greatest pleasure in life was her families. She was a past member of Holy Cross Church and the Women's Auxiliary. Many thanks to the staff at the Uxbridge Cottage Hospital for the wonderful care and support in Ruby's final days. In lieu of flowers the family would appreciate donations being made to the charities of their choice. A funeral mass will be held on Friday, March 30, 2007, at 11:00 a.m. in Holy Cross Church, 252 Dubuc Street, with Father Roy officiating. Service will terminate at the church and a private family interment will be held at Glen Lawn Memorial Gardens. The Coutu family in care of arrangements: E.J. COUTU CO.
