Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryHOWARD JOSEPH COOK With our deepest sadness, we are announcing that on March 22, 2007, Howard Joseph Cook, at the age of 78, passed away at the St. Boniface Hospital. Howard was born in St. Ambroise, MB, where he worked at various jobs as a farm helper and a fisherman. Later he moved to Winnipeg and worked for the Freshwater Fishery for over 25 years. When he retired he took up bingo playing and took great joy in watching his grandchildren grow. He was a good and caring individual who was concerned about all who came around him. Howard leaves to mourn his children, Gloria, Yvette (Ralph) Denby, Sharon, Andrew and Lloyd; his sisters, Irene Poirier and Phyllis Collerette; eight grandchildren, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. Dad was predeceased by his parents Marie Rose and James Cook; infant sister Laura; and brother-in-law. Dad, we never believed you would leave us so fast, but you had to give up your courageous battle with cancer. You will be missed but we take comfort in knowing that the suffering is gone and you are in heaven where we will meet someday again. Prayers will be held at Bardal Funeral Home at 7:00 p.m. on Friday, March 30, and the funeral mass will take place on Saturday, March 31 at 1:30 p.m. at St. Ambroise Roman Catholic Church, St. Ambroise, MB, with interment to follow in the Parish Cemetery. The pallbearers will be Andrew Cook, Michael Cook, John Cook, Joshua Cook, Ralph Denby and Michael Collerette. The family would like to thank all those who helped in any way during this difficult time. BARDAL FUNERAL HOME 843 Sherbrook Street, 774-7474 Condolences: www.bardal.ca
