RONALD ALEC MILLS 1958 - 2007 Suddenly on Tuesday, March 27 at Concordia Hospital, Ron passed away with his family at his side. Ron was born in Portage La Prairie but lived most of his life in St. James. Left to mourn his loss is his wife of 24 years, Kim; his daughter Ashley; his mother Margaret (Marinus); and Ron's siblings, Darlene (Kerry), Stephen, Laurie and Brad; his nephews, Kane and Tyler, Vince and Jack. Others who will mourn his demise are Marion and Ed Bowman, Britt (Douglas) Muntain, Jim Bowman, Catherine Zbak, Aunt Esther Westin, Uncle Doug and Aunt Lois Redding and Aunt Phyllis and Bill Sheibels. Ron was predeceased by his brother Brian; and Grandma and Grandpa Redding. Ron worked the last 10 years at Rothesay and 10 years at Canada West Shoes. He was a good and reliable employee. He loved his family and stood by them at all times, especially his daughter Ashley and wife Kim. Rest easy, Ron, no more pain, no more worries. Cremation has taken place and interment to be announced. A reception in honour of Ron, for his family and friends, will be held at the Prince Edward Legion on Friday, March 30 at 2:00 p.m. at 300 Trent Ave. In lieu of flowers donations can be sent to St. Amant Foundation, 440 River Road, Winnipeg, Manitoba R2M 3Z9.
