MARY CATHERINE GRANT (STAUNTON) (nee ARONDEUS) Peacefully at the Dauphin Personal Care Home on Wednesday, March 21, 2007, Mary Grant of Dauphin, MB passed away at the age of 98 years. Mary was predeceased by her husbands, Jack Staunton and Don Grant; and her parents, Sjoecke and John Arondeus Sr. Mary will be remembered by her brother John and Jean Arondeus; her nieces, Derryn Few, Judy Rempel, Colleen Enns; and good friend Muriel. Mary enjoyed many sports growing up excelling in tennis and baseball and in later years loved a good game a bridge. Mary worked for years as a bookkeeper and enjoyed the posting to Norway House with husband Jack and the Department of Northern Affairs. A highlight of Mary's life was her travels to Hawaii, the Phillipines, Hong Kong and Tokyo. We are proud to say Mary has donated her body to the University of Manitoba for the advancement of medicine through anatomical study.
