MARY SHIPP (nee MANCHUR) It is with very sad hearts that we announce the passing of our dear mother Mary, at the age of 81 years. Mom was born in Gilbert Plains, Manitoba, on October 15, 1925. With her family by her side, Mom passed away peacefully on Tuesday, March 27, 2007, at Seven Oaks Hospital. Remaining to forever cherish Mom's memory are her children, Diane (Warren), Janice (George), Rodney and Connie (Charles); grandchildren, Blair, Lauren, Rick, Jeff, Renee, Darren, Carla and Emily; her great-grandchildren, Nicole, Kevin, Crystal, Abigail, Graydon, Odin and Jessica. She was also blessed with a great-great-granddaughter Kaley. Also left to mourn her passing are her sisters, Rose and Doris; brothers, Matthew (Maxine), Tony (Nellie) and Ernie (Harriet); sisters-in-law, Stella and Rose; numerous nieces and nephews; and very close friend Helen Brown. Devoted to her family all her life, she now joins in eternal happiness, our Dad Peter who passed away on April 11, 1988. Prayers will be held Monday, April 2, 2007, at 7:00 p.m. at Knysh Funeral Chapel, 1020 Main St. Funeral service will be held Tuesday, April 3, 2007, at 10:30 a.m., also from the chapel. Interment will follow at All Saints Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Rick Lavallee, Jeff Lavallee and Kevin Lavallee, Dan Baluta, Carl Dokken and Perry Tomashewsky. Our heartfelt thanks go out to the Palliative Care unit at Seven Oaks Hospital who took such wonderful care of Mom while she was there.
