YVON J. MALTAIS Sadly in Winnipeg on March 29, 2007, Yvon Maltais passed away at the young age of 60, after a long battle with pancreatic cancer. Son of Mrs. Demerise Gallant (85). Predeceased by his father Leonidas Maltais (2001). He leaves behind to mourn his passing his beloved wife Paulette, his sons, Sylvian (Nathalie, Frederique, Nicolas, Noemie, Cloe) and Marco (Linda, Adam, Mathew, Cody, Mandy, Kevin); his daughters, Katy (Chany, Noemie, Daniel), Nathalie (Randall, Jordan, Devon, Logan), Marie-Josee (Touch and cats) and Almiranda (Filipe, Ashley, Kayla and Emma). He also leaves his four brothers, three sisters, many aunts and uncles as well as many good family friends. Yvon loved family celebrations, driving big trucks, making family movies and playing with his beloved dog Gepeto. A memorial service celebrating Yvon's life will be held Wednesday, April 4 at 7:00 p.m. in the chapel of Voyage Funeral Home, 220 Hespeler Ave. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Health Sciences Foundation, in care of Palliative Care at MS7-820 Sherbrook.
