OLGA SHAW (nee PAULISHYN) After a lengthy illness, which she faced with extreme courage, Olga passed away peacefully at home surrounded by her family on Friday, March 30, 2007 at the age of 74. She is survived by her husband Walter of 53 years; her children, Bernie (Cindy), Bob (Cheryl), Brian (Janis), Joanne (Bill), Bruce (Barb) and many grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She is also survived by her sisters, Jennie Fehr, Julia Molicky and Vera Buss. She was predeceased by her father Alexander, mother Annie, brothers, John and Ted and sisters, Mary, Pat and Helen. Olga was born in Beausejour in 1932 and graduated Grade 12 there. She went on to work at the Beausejour Hospital in 1950 until her retirement in 1994. Besides her family and grandchildren, who were her first love, Olga enjoyed all crafts. She was very talented and from ceramics to paintings and cross-stitch, Olga's handiwork can be found in many homes, treasured by all. Cremation has taken place. A celebration of Olga's life will be held on Wednesday, April 4 at 11:00 a.m. in the Beausejour Room of the Brokenhead River Recreational Complex, 320 Veterans Lane (James Avenue), Beausejour, MB. Private family interment to follow.
