After serving overseas in the Air Force, Leo graduated from the Winnipeg School of Art, where he met and married his wife Gwen. Leo enjoyed a very successful career as a commercial artist. He was a tall, handsome, shy man, whom was a good provider and a dedicated husband and father. His favourite pastime was enjoying a good game of pool and sharing his sarcastic humour with all his friends. Leo will be remembered most for his art, cartooning, animating, and his homemade family Christmas Cards, which became a tradition for all to enjoy for many years. We'll miss you Dad, thinking of you always. We'd like to thank all the staff members, and volunteers at the Deer Lodge Hospital for their kind companionship, loving care and attention that they gave Leo. He loved teasing you all. Leo had requested there not be a service, but wished family and friends to enjoy sharing and remembering the good times. Please join us on Wednesday, April 4, at 2:00 p.m. at the Rockwood Legion on Wilton and Lorette, upstairs by the pool tables. In lieu of flowers, please donate to a cause of your choice.
