RONALD (RON) CRAIG HREHIRCHUK March 7, 1969 March 29, 2007 Peacefully surrounded by the love of his family, and after many months of battling Blastomycosis and subsequent complications, Ron passed away at the Victoria General Hospital in Winnipeg at the age of 38 years. He is survived by the love of his life Tracy and his pride and joy son Ethan and daughter Anya: parents, Ron and Barb Hrehirchuk of Dauphin; sister Nicole of Winnipeg; grandmother ( Baba ) Anne Hafichuk of Dauphin; father-in-law Vern Fordham of Starbuck and special friend Vee of Winnipeg; mother-in-law Donna Fordham of Ochre River; sister-in-law Terri of Winnipeg; and grandfather ( Geegee ) Peter Langelle. He will be forever loved and remembered by many aunts and uncles, numerous cousins and countless friends. Born and raised in Dauphin, MB Ron graduated from D.R.C.S.S. High School and furthered his education at Red River Community College in Winnipeg to become a Computer Programmer/Analyst. After joining the workforce with Deloitte Touche of Winnipeg, he went on to a lengthy and loyal career with Sunwest Screen Graphics as a Manager of Information Systems. Ron married Tracy (Fordham) in October of 1994. After some time of living in Winnipeg and having Ethan and Anya bless their lives, they decided to raise their family outside of the city and settled in to the community of Starbuck, MB. Ron touched many lives with his gentle spirit, his curiosity of life and his giving ways. He had a great sense of community as he was involved in his children's sporting activities including being a coach and a volunteer. Ron had many personal interests such as martial arts, computers, skiing and golfing and performed in the local dinner theatre group. He was also a member of the Zirka Ukrainian Dance Ensemble of Dauphin and Troyanda of Selkirk. His strength and vitality will forever be felt by all. The family would like to express their sincere appreciation to all of Ron's friends and family and the community for the care, consideration and support over the last eight months; and especially to the doctoral and nursing staff at both Health Sciences Centre and Victoria General Hospital, for providing the best possible care available for him at this time. A celebration of his life will be held on Thursday, April 5, 2007 at 1:00 p.m. at the Starbuck Community Hall in Starbuck, MB. All of Ron's friends, please consider yourselves his honourary pallbearers. In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made to the Ethan and Anya Hrehirchuk Trust Fund at any Credit Union.
