GUENTER HEINZ LAUBER (G) March 22, 1953 - March 31, 2007 Guenter Heinz Lauber G suddenly passed away at the St. Boniface Hospital on Saturday, March 31, 2007, at the age of 54 years. Guenter is survived by his wife Linda (Diebert); son Chris (Lisa); daughter Debbie (Curtis); mother and father Ingrid and Gerhard; sister Doris (Dave); brother Harry (Lisa); mother and father-in-law Mary and Ed; sister and brother-in-law Kathy and David; nieces and nephews, Cindy, Kristine, Devon, Nicole, Jamie and Tyler; and numerous family and friends. G spent the majority of his life in the North End where he held many jobs which included Ed Diebert Ltd., Chick Lumber, CAA Manitoba, and most recently St. James Volkswagen. Over the years G was involved with many organizations which included NWMHA, WMHA, Suns Hockey Club, St. James Canadians Jr. A, and for over 20 years at Sinclair Park Community Centre. Over the course of his life he made many friends. The family wishes to extend their gratitude to the staff at the Seven Oaks and St. Boniface Hospitals. A memorial service will be held at 11:00 a.m., Thursday April 5 at Lutheran Church of the Cross, 560 Arlington Street. A private burial will take place. Honorary pallbearers will be Bill Firman, Joe Picklyk, Kristine Gigian, Devon Murdoch and his beloved baby Dacota.
