MARION L. WIEDER It is with heartfelt sadness that we announce the sudden passing of our husband, father and friend, Marion Wieder, on Friday, March 30, 2007, at the Concordia Hospital at the age of 78 years. Remaining to forever cherish Marion's memory are his wife Anna; sons, Ken (Penny) of Calgary, Randy (Marianne) of Winnipeg; daughter Leona (Mark) of Calgary; grandchildren, Melany, Ryan, Alicia, Bradley, Joshua; and also his cat, Fluffy. Born in Saskatchewan, Marion moved to Winnipeg at a young age where he met his soul mate Anna. Marion had a great love for woodworking, making a career of carpentry and cabinet making. He progressed up to a site supervisor on many major building projects in Winnipeg. In compliance with Marion's wishes, no formal funeral service will be held, and a private family celebration of his life will take place at a later date. The family would like to express our sincere Thank-You to the Winnipeg Fire Paramedic Service and the staff of the Concordia Hospital for their caring help, at the time of our need. In lieu of flowers, donations in Marion's memory may be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation of Manitoba, 200 - 6 Donald Street, Winnipeg, Manitoba R3L 0K6, or a charity of one's choice.
