DOREEN MAY CRAWFORD (nee CAIRNS) On Wednesday, April 4, 2007, Doreen passed away peacefully at the Grace Hospice at the age of 77 years. Remaining to forever cherish Doreen's memory are her daughters, Donna (Tony), Gail; son Barry (Diane); also her grandchildren, Jason, John, Shirley, Michael, David and Steven. She was predeceased by her husband Robert James; and son Allan James. A longtime member of the Golden Rule Seniors, in her earlier years, Doreen was a member of The Royal Group and Tuesday Crafts. Mom enjoyed playing cards, taking her family out for special family occasions and spending time with family and friends. A private family service for Doreen will be held in the Chapel of Memories in Wojcik's All Beliefs and Faiths Funeral Chapel. The family would like to thank the staff of the Grace Hospice for their concern, attentive care and kindness. Mom was a loving and kind soul to the very end and will be greatly missed. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Doreen's memory to the Canadian CancerCare Manitoba Division, 193 Sherbrook Street, Winnipeg, Manitoba R3C 2B7.
