ANNIE LACH (nee SCHAREIN) On April 5, 2007, Annie Lach, age 94, formerly of Meadowood Manor, passed away peacefully at Concordia Place. Annie is lovingly remembered by her brother William Scharein of Beausejour, and many nieces, nephews and friends. She was predeceased by her husband Rudy in 1996; her parents, August and Auguste Scharein, and siblings, Mary Glowatzky, Gussie Smith, Frank, Charlotte Guenther, and Louis and Gus. A celebration of her life will be held on Wednesday, April 11, 2007 at 12:30 p.m. with viewing one half hour prior to the service at Chapel Lawn Funeral Home, 4000 Portage Avenue. Interment to follow at Chapel Lawn Memorial Gardens. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Annie's memory to a charity of your choice.
