GWENITH LYCAN It is with sadness we announce the passing of our dear wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother after a courageous battle on April 7, 2007 at Riverview Health Centre with her family by her side. Gwen was predeceased by her brother Wayne. She will be missed by her husband of 53 years Lester; three children, Jim (Michelle), William (Susan), Karen (David); nine grand-children, Mireille, Kelsey, Ellyse, and Martine; David, Scott, and Sam; Ethan and Sarah; three great-grandchildren, Brendan, Mia, and Keira. She was a loving mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. She enjoyed spending time with her friends, especially the many Girl's Club events over the years. Gwen enjoyed curling, bowling, and many happy summers at Grand Beach and later in Grand Marais. The family wishes to extend a special thank you to the staff of the Palliative Care Ward, 3 East of the Riverview Health Centre and the nurses and aides from Homecare. A memorial service will be held on Wednesday, April 11, 2007, 2:00 p.m. at Glen Eden Funeral Home with reception to follow.
