ROSEMARY DEARMAN (nee TOSHACK) March 15, 1927 - April 6, 2007 With her family by her side, Rosemary passed away on Good Friday, April 6, 2007. Mom leaves to cherish her memory, Robert, her husband of 55 years; six children, Jack (Ana), Christine (Frank), Ronald (Linda), Clifford, Kathleen (Jim), and George; nine grandchildren, Fiona, Ben, Colin, Noah, David, Geoff, Jodi, Jacob, Rose; and her brother James Toshack (Florence). She is reunited with her mother and father, Alma and John Toshack, sister Margaret and brother David. Rosemary was born in Emesville, West St. Paul. She graduated from high school and then moved to attend business college in Winnipeg. After graduation she was employed as a secretary by the provincial government. Rosemary married Robert on October 27, 1951 and they built their home in West St. Paul in 1953. Mom devoted her life to raising a family with Dad and she filled our lives with unconditional love and gentle encouragement. Her quiet presence, wisdom and selfless love continue to inspire us. She attended St. Teresa's Roman Catholic Church where she was actively involved as a minister of the Eucharist, a member of the C.W.L., the choir and Bible Study group. After her children grew up she also began volunteering at the Middlechurch Home where she completed 29 years of service. Rosemary was often seen walking her favourite dog Max and enjoying the simple pleasures of daily life. Mom's love of nature was reflected in her beautiful garden which she planted every year with Dad. The family would like to thank Dr. Orla Klassen, Winnipeg, Dr. P. Daeninck and staff at CancerCare Manitoba, Dr. Janice Wright and the Centre for Integrated Healing, Vancouver, and everyone at the Jean C. Barber Lodge, Vancouver. We are especially grateful for the care received at Riverview Health Centre, Winnipeg. Thank you to our many friends and family for their kindness and support. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Wednesday, April 11 at 10:30 a.m. at St Theresa's Church, 3597 Main Street, West St. Paul, with Rev. Msgr. Louis J. McCloskey as celebrant. Prayers will be said Tuesday, April 10 at 7:00 p.m. at St. Theresa's Church. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to St. Benedict's Monastery, West St. Paul. Thank you Mom, you have touched our hearts and we cherish and love you. CROPO FUNERAL CHAPEL 586-8044
