GISELLE LAURENCE (nee ROBERT) It is with great sorrow and heartache that the family of Giselle has to make known of her passing on April 5, 2007, after a brief illness. She leaves to mourn her husband Roger after a 33-year love affair that is even stronger today; a daughter Amanda (Nic) that was the Light of her Life, with a Love for each other so strong and a friendship so cherished by both; grandson Logan and granddaughter Gracie, the two most precious Gems in her life. Also to mourn is her mother Florence Robert; brothers, Roger, Paul (Jan); and sisters, Claudette, Rachelle (Chucky); father-in-law Roland Sr.; brothers-in-law, Roland Jr. (Lorraine), Robert; and many nephews and nieces. Giselle was predeceased by her father Claude; and her mother-in-law Roma. As per Giselle's wishes, she is to be cremated and there will be no service as requested by her. However she would like to thank all her special, caring and so many supportive friends and family, too many to name, but you all know who you are. You can feel in your hearts how she loved each and everyone of you with all her heart and was never afraid to show her love for others. We would also like to thank CancerCare and a special thank you to the nurses and doctors at the MSICU on the second floor at the St. Boniface Hospital for the unbelievable medical care. We can't express in words how thankful we are for the genuine care and compassion for Giselle and her family, for the last month we had to enjoy our Wife, Mother and Angel.
