Mom was born on the Steamship Gothland (in Canadian waters), on May 18, 1911, her birth is recorded on the Ship's manifest. Mom grew up in Springwell, Manitoba, near Lac du Bonnet. In 1935 she married our Dad, John Kruk. They settled into farm life in Allegra, Manitoba. In May 2005, Mom moved to East Gate Lodge. Mom was a lover of flowers, all flowers, but especially Geraniums, Hollyhocks and Dahlias. She was always looking for some new and interesting variety to try out. Thankfully, most of us have inherited her love of flowers and plants. In her younger years, Mom belonged to a number of organizations, both political and otherwise. She was also a member of the Agricultural Society and the Beau-Head Seniors Centre. Pallbearers will be her four grandsons, Allan Tymko, Kelly Tymko, Rex Lee and Jason Schultz and, Glenn Wiedermann and Edward Tetreault. Honourary Pallbearers will be her two granddaughters, Brenda Wiedermann and Darlene Lee. Our heartfelt thanks firstly to the staff at East Gate Lodge for the wonderful loving care extended to Mom, and to us as well. You will never know how very much you are loved and appreciated.
