ROSITA BONGOY LUMANTA It is with great sorrow and heartache; we announce the passing of our beloved wife and mother, Rosita Bongoy Lumanta on April 9, 2007, after a lengthy battle with illness. She leaves to mourn her beloved husband of so many years, Pamfilo, her daughters, Delia Sidhu and children, Priscilla (Dallas) Murray, great-grandchildren, (Alisha, Dallas Jr., Corbin); Natalie, Samantha, Delia; Josefina Lamamigo, and children, Jessalee and three children, Phillip and three children, Pam-Rose, Jay R. and Jeffrey from the Philippines; Melita and children, Jon-Neil, Kathleen, Nadine, Adin from Malaysia; Melinda (Tony) Velasco and children, Anthony Christopher, Ryan Angelo, Allison Krystal; Dioleta (Julie and Joe) DaSilva, children, Chelsey Jo, Joseph Nygel; Rosie Lumanta and children, Rhodel, Chrystina, Sherryl, Kathyryne; Adelita (Adelle) and children, Dylan Christian and Michael Tyler. She has six great-grandchildren in the Philippines. Our family would like to extend gratitude to all the doctors, nurses and staff at the Health Sciences Centre for the genuine care, compassion and support over the last few months that we had to love and cherish our wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. Lamay will take place on Friday, April 13, 2007, from 6:00 p.m. until midnight, Saturday, April 14 from 6:00 p.m. until 11:30 p.m. at Glen Lawn Funeral Home, 455 Lagimodiere Blvd. Funeral mass will be held 10:00 a.m. Monday, April 16, 2007, at St. Joseph Roman Catholic Church, 355 Andrews St. Interment will follow at Glen Lawn Memorial Gardens, Himlayang Garden with reception to follow in Glen Lawn Reception Centre. Ma this is not a goodbye, because you will always be in our hearts forever. We love you and you will be missed so much.
