ANDRE LESAGE It is with great sadness that we announce the sudden passing of our husband, dad, grandfather and great-grandfather on Tuesday, April 10, 2007, at the age of 82 years. He will be sadly missed and lovingly remembered by his wife Therese of 56 years; one daughter and four sons: Isabelle (Florent) Desrochers, John (Roselie), Albert (Glenda), Roger (Elaine) and Donald (Carol); his grandchildren, Richard, Patrick and Daniel Desrochers, Darcy (Jerri), Adam, Nicholas, Tanya (Dave), Trent (Megan), Bradley, Tina, Jenna, Andrea and Quinn LeSage; plus four great-grandchildren, Dawn, Gabriel, Ryan and Beth LeSage. He is survived by two brothers, Pierre (Mari Ange), Marcel (Kay) and one sister-in-law Mrs. Anne Bibault. Andre was predeceased by his parents, Pierre and Helene LeSage and two brothers and three sisters. Dad was born on a small farm near Notre Dame, Manitoba, on April 30, 1924. He later moved to Rathwell where he farmed with his parents. On October 21, 1950, Dad married Therese Bibault and eventually took over the family farm. In 1969, he moved to Winnipeg with his family and was employed at the St. Boniface School Division until his retirement. Dad's number one priority was his family. He enjoyed many family activities in particular, camping, fishing, hunting, playing cards and going to his cottage at Woodridge. His close relationship to his loved ones kept him young and active. We would like to thank Father Gary Killen, the Response Team and the Emergency Room Staff at the St. Boniface Hospital for their kindness and wonderful care. The family would also like to thank in a very special way, Dr. Casey Woo, who took such great care of dad over the years. With respect to his wishes, cremation has taken place. In celebration of his life, Mass will be held on Monday, April 16, 2007, at 2:00 p.m. at St. Emile's Church, 556 St. Anne's Road, with Fr. Rene Peeters as celebrant. Interment will take place in Glen Lawn Memorial Gardens. A reception with family and friends will follow in the Glen Lawn Reception Centre. In lieu of flowers, if family and friends desire, donations may be made in Dad's memory to the Canadian Heart and Stroke Foundation, 6 Donald Street, Winnipeg, MB R3L 0K6, or to the Manitoba Lung Association, 629 McDermot Avenue, Winnipeg, MB R3A 1P6. Arrangements entrusted to: GLEN LAWN FUNERAL HOME 455 Lagimodiere Blvd. 982-7550
