MARIE ODILE GIRARD (nee Cancade) Mom died peacefully on April 12, 2007 at the Taché Nursing Centre. Marie was predeceased by her husband Noel in September, 2000. She was a loving and devoted mother to Claudette (David) Blais, Louis (Robin) and Maurice (Nicole). Mémère adored her grandchildren, cherishing the time she spent with Michelle and Nicholas Blais and Alexander and Anna Marie Girard. Marie is survived by siblings, Paul Cancade, Cecile (Bert) Chamberland, Anne-Marie (Charlie) Macdonald, Hélène Bonnière and Frank (Rose) Cancade. Marie was also predeceased by an infant daughter, Nicole, and siblings, Therèse Pallard and Maurice Cancade and by her parents, Leon and Gabrielle Cancade. Mom's life will continue to be celebrated by her family and friends and she will always be remembered for her kind and gentle nature. A special thank you is extended to the caring and compassionate staff at the Taché Nursing Centre. In accordance with Marie's wishes, a private family service will be held.
