RYAN SHAY (RB) BRADFORD It is with extreme sadness that we announce the sudden passing of Ryan, aged 30 years, on April 9, 2007. Known affectionately as RB to his close group of friends, Ryan graduated Glenlawn Collegiate in 1994. He then went on to attend Applied Multimedia College to pursue his love of computers and image generated programs. Ryan loved to travel, especially to hot sunny destinations. He spent several months touring and working in Australia along with residing in numerous locations throughout Canada. Most recently Ryan was serving with the military at CFB Borden Ontario. This is where he met his girlfriend, Mallory Walker. In the past Ryan held several positions in the Beverage and Food industry where he built many long lasting friendships. Everyone who was fortunate enough to know Ryan raved about his sincerity and easy going manner. He had a special fondness for all animals. Ryan will be lovingly remembered by his parents, Susan Bradford and Brian Kotchon. Also left to cherish his memory are brother Sean Kotchon (Aimee Cunningham); niece/ nephew (Jocelyn and Mason); grandparents, Stan and Stella Sobiech and Mike and June Kotchon; Uncle Dusty Alan Hart and numerous aunts, uncles and cousins. A memorial service will be held on Wednesday, April 18, 2007, at 1:00 p.m. in Thomson In the Park Funeral Home, 1291 McGillivray Blvd., with a reception to follow. Ryan, today marks 13 years since you have been gone. I think and remember you every day. I am so honored that you were my Son. You had and gave off a special light to all of those you encountered. I was so exceptionally proud of you-every day of your life. When you were little and so very sweet and when you grew into such an exceptional man. You remain the brightness in my heart forever and more. Your loving Mom xxxooo - Posted by: Susan Bradford Kammerloch (Mother) on: Apr 09, 2020

I will and miss Ryan very much. He is in my thoughts everyday and I sense his presence from time to time. I never got a chance to meet him in person. I used to write letters to him (although I could never send them). I love and miss him very much. I can't wait to see him when I am called to heaven. Ryan is, was and always will be my hero and a great rolemodel to me. - Posted by: Dalton Peter Hart (Cousin) on: Jun 23, 2012
