JOSEPH DAWYDIUK It is with great sadness the family announces the passing of Joseph Dawydiuk. After many years of battling cancer, Joe passed away on April 13, 2007 with his family by his side. Born December 4, 1927 to Wasyl and Marie Dawydiuk, Joseph was raised with his eight sisters and four brothers in Haywood, Manitoba. After becoming an electrician, his work eventually took him to Hadashville, Manitoba where he met his future wife Josephine Lupkowski. They settled in Hadashville where he was in entrepreneurial partnership with his wife in several small businesses. They married in 1953 raising four children, one son and three daughters Wayne, Sharon, Marlene and Linda. He is survived by his wife of 53 years; his four children (son-in-law Dean Berg) and his three grandchildren Haylie, Reed and Kane. Prayers will be said on Monday, April, 16 at 7:00 p.m. at Cropo Funeral Chapel, 1442 Main Street, Winnipeg. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Tuesday, April 17 at 12:00 p.m. noon at St. John the Baptist Roman Catholic Church, Hadashville. Reception to follow at the Hadashville Community Centre. Pallbearers will be his grandson Kane Berg, son-in-law Dean Berg and nephews Dennis Davyduik, Lorne Dawydiuk, Tony Major and Doug Dawydiuk. A special thanks to our family physician, Dr. Monika Czarnecka, for her caring and compassion. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Joseph's memory to CancerCare Manitoba. P.O.
