He will be forever missed by the love of his life of 60 years, Minnie (nee Peiluck); his daughter Brenda (Mike) Harboway; his son Andy (Darlene Reid) and youngest daughter Susan (Joe) Lambert; grandchildren, Tina (Dean) Drimes, Stanley (Jenny) Trybell, Corey Harboway, Steven Trybell, Tyler and Michelle Lambert, Lindsay Trybell (Penny); great-grandchildren Emma Drimes and Christine Harboway; as well as numerous nieces and nephew. Stanley was predeceased by his four sisters, Ann, Kay, Mabel and Mitzie. Stanley was born in Komarno, MB and was raised in Winnipeg, where he met and soon married Minnie in 1946. Dad was a construction steel worker until he retired in 1988. He also worked for the Winnipeg Jets as the host of the media press box for 17 years. Dad's number one priority was his family. He was a kind and loving man to all. Dad was an avid sports fan; after all, he had no choice being married to Minnie! He enjoyed fishing, building lawn ornaments and loved to have a rousting game of crib with mom and family. We wish to express our sincere gratitude to the staff of Seven Oaks General Hospital for the compassionate care of dad's many hospital stays, especially his last one. In celebration of dad's life, a service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Tuesday, April 17 at Glen Eden Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers, donations in honor of Dad's memory may be made to the Emergency Fund at Seven Oaks General Hospital, 2300 McPhillips Street, Winnipeg R2V 3M5. Arrangements entrusted to: Glen Eden Funeral Home 4477 Main Street 338-7111
