ELEANOR IRENE MACRAE (nee ALLAN) She was born on March 13th, husband Peter on July 13th. They were wed on August 13th, on April 13th she joined him. Eleanor was predeceased by Peter and is survived by her children, Kim and Carey, (Donna), grandchildren, Rhys and Kylie MacRae, sister Jean Styan and brother Clyde Allan. She will be missed by everyone in the Allan, MacRae, Shore and Styan families. Eleanor was born in 1923 in Raymore, Saskatchewan, grew up in Treherne, Manitoba, and lived the rest of her life in Winnipeg where she balanced a career as a stenographer with being a devoted wife and mother to Peter, Kim and Carey. Eleanor enjoyed sports, dancing, current events and word puzzles, was an avid bowler and golfer and a long-time member of the Winnipeg Canoe Club. Friends and family appreciated her quick wit and sense of humour. Respecting her last wishes, cremation has taken place and there will be no service. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the charity of your choice. Hold dear to your parents, for it is a scary and confusing world without them. Emily Dickinson
