CATHERINE STEPHEN HANSON April 12, 1916 - April 13, 2007 Peacefully, on Friday, April 13, 2007, Catherine Hanson passed away at the Victoria Hospital in Winnipeg, one day after her 91st birthday. Remaining to forever cherish Catherine's memory are her daughter Hilary (Don); son-in-law Bob (Sylvia); grandchildren, Rick (Michelle) and Kara (John); and two great-grandchildren, Conner and Anna. She was predeceased by her husband Ernie, and daughter Kathy. Catherine was passionate about life and lived it with a joy that was an inspiration to her family as well as her many friends. Despite failing health in the last few years, she continued to face each day with an attitude that was forever young. A celebration of life will be held for family and friends on Friday, April 20 between 1:00 p.m. and 4:00 p.m. at the Kiwanis Chateau, 430 Webb Place. Our family would like to express our deepest gratitude to the caring doctors and staff of the Victoria Hospital. As well, we would like to thank the home care staff whose support allowed Mom to continue to live the independent life she so cherished. In lieu of flowers, if friends so desire, donations in her memory may be made to the Christian Blind Mission International, 3844 Stouffville Road, P.O.
