PEDRO (PETER) FALGUI, JR. Surrounded by family; Pedro (Peter) Falgui, Jr. passed away peacefully on April 12, 2007 at the age of 60 at Seven Oaks General Hospital. Pedro was born on September 30, 1946 in Candon City, Ilocos Sur, Philippines. In 1973 he married and immigrated to Canada. A retired mechanic at Reimer Express Lines, Ltd., Pedro was a caring, well respected, hard working person who enjoyed life, working on cars, doing carpentry and home renovations and spending time with friends and family. Left to cherish his memory is his loving wife of 34 years Floradeliza Laxamana Falgui, sons, Mark (Carmelita), Peter John; grandchildren, Taysia and Shailo; Brother Ignacio (Lida); sisters, Juanita (Erwin) Schmeida, Rose Falgui, of Winnipeg and Mercy (Jess) Nielsen of Denmark; numerous nieces and nephews; in-laws: Vicky (Vic), Celia (Roland), Ronato (Diadi), Carlito (Olivia), Carl (Gina) and Bing, all of Calgary. Pedro was predeceased by his father Pedro Falgui Sr. and mother Lucia Pagaduan Falgui. Lamay (viewing) will take place from 6:00 p.m. to 12 midnight on Thursday, April 19, 2007, prayer service at 7:15 and 8:30 p.m. and Friday April 20, 2007, prayer service at 7:30 p.m. at the Thomson in the Park Funeral Home, 1291 McGillvray Blvd. Funeral Mass is on Saturday April 21, 2007 at 1:00 p.m. at St. Peters Church, 748 Keewatin Street. Burial at Assumption Cemetery, 3990 Portage Ave. and reception to follow at the Philippine Canadian Centre of Manitoba (P.C.C.M) 737 Keewatin Street.
