Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryROBERT DALTON BRISCO Peacefully on April 14, 2007, Dalton passed away at the Health Sciences Centre. He was predeceased by his parents, Roland and Gladys and brother Kelly. He is survived by his sister Claudia and her daughter Roberta, brother Ernie, and his daughters, Cheri, Laurie and Kristy and his son Jack, sister-in-law Jean and her daughters, Wendy and Shirley and many grand and great-grandnieces and nephews and cousins. Dalton was born in Emo, Ontario on February 16, 1922. He grew up in Winnipeg on Ronald Street then at Glencairn, Manitoba. He was a veteran of the Second World War. He served in the Air Force in Northern France until the end of the war in 1945. Dalton worked for the CPR B B, then as Safety Officer at Ear Falls Mine in Ontario until retirement in 1987. Since retirement he has enjoyed reading, trips to Europe, South America and Cuba. A memorial service will take place on Thursday, April 19, 2007 at 2:00 p.m. in Thomson In the Park Funeral Home, 1291 McGillivray Blvd. In lieu of flowers donations may be made in Robert's (Dalton's) memory to the Heart and Stroke Foundation of Manitoba, 6 Donald Street, Suite 200, Winnipeg, Manitoba R3L 0K6, the Canadian Cancer Society, 193 Sherbrook Street, Winnipeg, Manitoba R3C 2B7 or a charity of your choice.
