ELIZABETH M. STONEHAM April 13, 1921- April 13, 2007 Sadly, on her birthday, Beth passed away at Kildonan Personal Care Centre. She was predeceased by her father Albert who died accidentally in 1926 while at work with the C.P.R. and by her brother Bert who was killed in action in Europe during the Second World War. Her mother who was left to raise her three daughters alone, died in 1984. Beth is survived by sisters, Dorothy White, and Edna Stack who are joined in their grief by long-time special friend Emile Laliberte, whom she met in 1954 while working as a commercial artist at Brigdens of Winnipeg. To those who knew her well, she was an outgoing friendly person who communicated well because she was a caring listener. She loved all animals, especially cats. She loved and cared for numerous feline friends . Cremation will take place, and there will be a private service held at a later date.
