MARK DAVID HAYWOOD June 24, 1955 April 13, 2007 It is with profound grief and sadness we announce the untimely passing of our beloved Mark on Friday, April 13, 2007. Mark will be sadly missed and lovingly remembered by his wife Evelyn of 29 years, and two sons, Shane and Brett; parents, John and Doreen Haywood; brother Scott (Jamie); brothers and sisters-in-law, Frank (Janis) Klassen, Helen (Tony) Zarrillo, Jake Klassen, Marilyn (Kim) Phillips; niece Jevian and nephews, Jarod, Joshua, Jacob, Nicholas and Adam. Mark was raised in Fort Garry graduating from Vincent Massey Collegiate and obtained a Media Technician Certification from Red River Community College. He began his Audio/Visual career with the Fort Garry School Division moving on to Oakwood Audio followed by Great West Life. Mark changed his career path to television and joined CKND followed by CKY, WTN and most recently a master control supervisor at APTN (Aboriginal Peoples Television Network). Mark was well respected throughout his career by his many colleagues. The family wish to express sincere thanks to Les Baker, friend, neighbour and First Responder as well as the Springfield Volunteer First Responders and Oakbank RCMP for the care and kindness shown to Mark. A memorial service will be held on Friday, April 20, 2007 at 11:00 a.m. in Thomson In the Park Funeral Home, 1291 McGillivray Blvd. In lieu of flowers, if family and friends so desire, donations may be made in Mark's memory to the Winnipeg Humane Society, 5 Kent Street, Winnipeg, Manitoba R3L 1X3.
