HUGH STANLEY BOURNS Peacefully at Tri-Lake Health Centre in Killarney, MB on Sunday, April 15, 2007 Hugh Bourns, aged 82 years, of Cartwright, MB. Hugh was the second child born to Robert Bourns and Violet Bourns (Taylor) at Cartwright, MB on November 27, 1924. Hugh grew up in the Cartwright area and attended the Chesterville School. He served in the Navy from February 1944 to January 1946. He returned to the farm where he spent his entire working life and his retirement years until his passing. Hugh is survived by a brother Gordon of Killarney, MB; a nephew Robert (Dianne) Bourns of Winnipeg, MB and their children, Megan and Brendan, and a sister-in-law Patricia Bourns of Morden, MB. He was predeceased by his father Robert in 1964; his mother in 1992; a brother James in 1988, and a brother Howard in 2006. Funeral service will be held from Cartwright United Church on Thursday, April 19 at 2:00 p.m. Beth Clark officiating. Ash Interment to follow in Cartwright Cemetery.
