DONALD H. FRITH August 21, 1923 - April 16, 2007 Peacefully at St. Boniface Hospital, surrounded by his loving family, after a brief illness, Don Frith went to be with his Lord and Saviour, Jesus Christ. Sadly missed by his wife of 59 years, Betty; his children, Leigh (Tony), Scott (Pamela), Craig (Dianne); grandchildren, Kristen (Renald), Kevin (Maarika), Nicole (Shaun), Julie, Valerie, Doug (Kristy), James; great-grandchildren, Paige, Logan, Kaitlin, Noah, Maija, Trae, Bryson, Alex and Kyle. Don was born in Winnipeg, MB and spent the majority of his life in Winnipeg as an active member of the grain trade with McCabe Grain, NK Seeds and latterly as President of the Flax Council of Canada. He was also a veteran of the Second World War. Don was a well-respected and active member of the Christian community and was a much-loved friend and mentor to many. The family would like to thank the staff of St. Boniface Hospital for their care and compassion. A celebration of Don's life will be held at 1:00 p.m. at Holy Trinity Church, 256 Smith Street on Thursday, April 19, with Rev. Merv Lanctot officiating.
