DARLENE JOYCE SIMPSON It is with deep sadness we the family announce the passing of our dearest daughter and sister Darlene, at the Seven Oaks Hospital on April 14, 2007. She will be sadly missed by her surviving mother and two brothers, Maury of Winnipeg, and Ronald and family of Brandon, as well as a number of aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her father Jack in 1996. Darlene was born December 2, 1949 in Brandon, Manitoba. She was a loving, caring person, and had many hobbies, including knitting, crocheting, and making many beautiful things. Darlene had a special love for her cat, Tommy. A viewing will be held on Saturday, April 21, 2007 from 2:00 to 4:00 p.m. at Chapel Lawn Funeral Home, 4000 Portage Avenue, and a graveside service will be held on Tuesday, April 24, 2007 at 2:00 p.m. at Chapel Lawn Memorial Gardens, 4000 Portage Ave. Arrangements entrusted to: Chapel Lawn Funeral Home 885-9715
